8518 Butyl rubber double-sided waterproof tape is a durable waterproof tape with butyl rubber as the main material, supplemented by other additives, and an environmentally friendly non-curing self-adhesive sealing tape processed by a special process. It has excellent resilience, stretchability, aging resistance, peel strength and excellent water resistance, and has the functions of sealing, shock absorption and protection of the adhered surface. It is completely solvent-free, so it does not shrink, does not emit toxic gases, and is easy to construct. It is a rare waterproof material in the construction, machinery, electronics, and power energy industries.

Four: How to use
1. According to different gaps and seam widths, choose different specifications of tape; the thickness can be from 0.5-25mm, and the width can be from 3-500mm.
2. The surface to be bonded should be treated with water, oil and dust removal to keep it dry and clean. For difficult-to-stick interfaces such as PVC, rubber, cement, and wood, an appropriate primer can be selected.
3. Open the film and stick it to the required sealing position. After removing the release paper, it needs to be quickly overlapped to avoid dust and other debris affecting the bonding effect of the butyl rubber;
4. Roll the lap joint by hand or a small pressure roller to ensure that the adhesive tape and the surface of the adherend are tightly combined;
5. For surface finishing, use a knife to trim off the excess.
Five: Considerations
1. Before use, the water, oil and dirt on the surface of the pasted surface must be cleaned and dry, and the cement surface must ensure that the surface is free from sand;
2. This tape is pressure-sensitive, the stronger the pressure, the stronger the adhesive force. When pasting, please be sure to press the paste to make it close, and there should be no gaps, air bubbles, etc.;
3. Because the product is very sensitive to temperature changes, the initial adhesion of the surface will also change from low to high viscosity during the process of ambient temperature from low to high, and the hardness of the tape will also become soft, please use it reasonably. Our company has winter formula and summer formula for customers to choose.
4. Double-sided butyl adhesive cannot be exposed, and ultraviolet rays will accelerate the degradation and aging of the exposed part.
5. Store away from oily substances, such as solvent-based sealants, paints.
6. Keep the original sealed state and store it in a dry, cool and ventilated place, and it can be stored for 12 months below 25°C. If it exceeds the shelf life, it will be used after passing the relevant testing.

1. Conventional: gray, white, other colors can be customized according to customer samples or color cards, generally use RAL color cards.
2. According to the initial adhesion, density and tensile strength of butyl tape, it is divided into 17, 24, 38, 58 and other models for customers to choose.
